Safe Travel Institute Team to Expand Corporate Travel Safe Program Offerings for World's Largest Retailer

Plans Include Corporate Video Instruction Models Derived from Safe Passage DVD, Specially Tailored for Wal-Mart

Bentonville, Ark. and Spokane, Wash., -- August 14, 2006 -- Wal-Mart (WMT) and the Safe Travel Institute, a leading safe travel authority and producer of the Safe Passage DVD series, today announced that the two companies have joined together to further expand Wal-Mart's Corporate Travel Safe Program offering for the company's employees.

According to the agreement, Safe Travel Institute will work with Wal-Mart to create and produce a customized DVD package for the Wal-Mart Corporate Travel Department. The licensed video product and materials will be distributed to Wal-Mart corporate associates that travel on business. The Safe Travel Institute will also consult with Wal-Mart on the Travel Safe Program, providing counsel and guidance to help support Wal-Mart Corporate travelers.

"The safety of our associates is a top priority," said Eric White, Director of the Travel Safe program for Wal-Mart. "With the expanded offerings for the Wal-Mart Corporate Travel Safe Program, we plan to give our associates the training, skills and knowledge set they need to travel safely and learn to be more aware of their surroundings in today's world."

The Safe Passage DVD series was launched in 2005 by Randy Spivey, director and founder of the Safe Travel Institute. Recognizing the need for travel safety education in a volatile world, the Safe Travel Institute approach enhances personal safety and threat awareness. Randy Spivey has trained thousands of travelers from the Department of Defense, other federal agencies, corporations, plus humanitarian groups and tourists on personal security matters.

The Safe Passage Travel Companion for Wal-Mart includes a customized DVD, emergency contact procedures and key phone numbers, a pocket reference with strategic reminders of safe travel practices, and a free online membership to the Safe Passage NewsLine for up-to-date travel security information and resources.

"Americans are more uneasy about traveling than ever before," said Randy Spivey, director of the Safe Travel Institute. "From researching foreign cities, choosing safe hotel rooms and airline seats, to detecting surveillance and making yourself unattractive to a thief or terrorist, Safe Passage explains how to avoid common mistakes, making you less vulnerable."
